TOKENOMICS & REWARDS

The primary objective of this tokenomics model is to align the incentives of early adopters (miners) with the long-term commercial viability of the network. Rather than rewarding mere physical presence, a common flaw in some DePIN models, the HaLoWave economy is governed by the Tri-Proof Architecture (PoC, PoR, PoDT): Proof of Coverage (PoC), Proof of Reliability (PoR), and Proof of Data Transfer (PoDT). This ensures that the network expands securely, strongly deters location spoofing, provides high-fidelity RF coverage, and generates tangible value for enterprise clients from day one.

Furthermore, to provide immediate financial utility while the RF network scales, HaLoWave integrates a second monetization layer: Enterprise Bandwidth Routing & Global Health Check. This allows exclusively early adopters who own a HaLoWave Miner to monetize their idle internet bandwidth for a passive payout in $USDC on Solana every month from the very beginning.

HaLoWave is not just a network that exists; it’s a network that works. By rewarding coverage, authentic geographic placement, and actual data utility, we ensure that every $HLW token minted is backed by real-world infrastructure value.

Please Note: This Tokenomics and Rewards calculation model is currently in a draft/beta phase and is not definitive. It may be subject to adjustments based on network testing and community feedback. We want to build this together! To contribute your thoughts, please join our official channels:

1. Token Distribution & Long-Term Sustainability

The $HLW token lives on the Solana Solana Logo blockchain, chosen because it's the optimal layer in the DePIN ecosystem, matching the needs of industrial-grade IoT and revolutionizing Internet connection.

TOTAL SUPPLY: 1,000,000,000 (1 Billion) $HLW Tokens.
2 YEARS HALVING: To ensure long-term sustainability and scarcity, the emission rate of $HLW rewards halves every two years. This model guarantees that the token remains a scarce resource while providing a decade-long runway for network growth.

Community (Mainnet): 50% (500M)

Distributed continuously over several years through epoch-based emissions to sustain and expand network coverage and data transfer.
Unlock: Distributed daily via rewards. No Cliff.

Beta Rewards (Testnet): 10% (100M)

Reserved exclusively for early adopters testing the network prior to mainnet. Currently, active hardware earns Points, which will transition into $HLW Testnet Tokens on Solana. At the conclusion of the Beta phase, the total pool of emitted Testnet tokens will be analyzed. The more Testnet tokens a user has accumulated, the higher their proportional conversion rate will be for the Mainnet Airdrop. To protect the economy, 10% will be unlocked immediately at TGE. The remaining 90% is subject to a 12-month linear vesting schedule, acting as a "Veteran Bonus" paid alongside standard Mainnet rewards.

Backers & Investors: 20% (200M)

This ensures investors are aligned with the long-term success of the protocol.
Unlock: 0% unlock at TGE. Subject to a 6-month cliff, followed by 18 months of linear vesting.

Ecosystem & Liquidity: 15% (150M)

Utilized for exchange liquidity provisioning, strategic enterprise partnerships, ecosystem grants, and community growth initiatives.

Core Team: 5% (50M)

The team is rewarded only after the network has had time to mature and prove its value.
Unlock: 0% unlock at TGE. Subject to a 12-month cliff, followed by 24 months of linear vesting.

2. Macro-Economics: Burn-and-Mint Equilibrium (BME)

The HaLoWave economy is driven by real-world demand. Enterprise clients pay for connectivity in stable fiat currency or $USDC, while the protocol manages the token mechanics behind the scenes.

70% Buyback & Burn

70% of all revenue generated from network usage is used to buy back circulating $HLW from the open market. These tokens are then permanently burned, creating organic and constant buying pressure.

30% Operations

Allocated to the team to cover high-performance cloud infrastructure, research, and global expansion.

Example of BME in Action:
A security firm pays $3,000/month to connect and route data for 1,000 third-party HaLow cameras via the HaLoWave network. The protocol takes $2,100 (70%), buys $HLW on the open market, and permanently burns it, creating organic buying pressure driven entirely by real-world utility.

3. Rewards Architecture: The Daily Equation

The network measures performance in "Epochs" (10-minute windows). There are 144 Epochs in a day. Every 10 minutes, your miner performs a "heartbeat" to prove it is active.

The Master Equation
Daily Points = ( Uptime_Base × Pioneer_Status × PoC_Multiplier × Data_Multiplier ) × GPS_Validator × Hex_Penalty
Final Equation = (Rup × Mpioneer × Mpoc × Mdata) × Vgps × Phex

A. Base Uptime (Rup)

This measures your reliability. If your miner is connected to the internet and power for all 144 epochs, you get the full 100 points. If you lose power or internet, your points drop for every missed epoch.

B. The Pioneer Status (Mpioneer)

To strongly encourage the expansion of the network into unmapped territories and reward fleet managers who find unique hosting locations, HaLoWave introduces the Permanent Pioneer Status.

C. Proof of Coverage (PoC) & Link Quality (Mpoc)

This is "The Conversation." The network rewards you for successfully sending and receiving radio messages with other miners. This entire mechanic represents the Proof of Coverage (PoC).

To maintain economic balance alongside the Data Transfer multiplier, the PoC multiplier scales based on the quality, distance, and symmetry of your connections, up to a strict hard cap.

Formula 1: Peff = Sum of [ (Epoc,i / 144) × Kdist,i × Wlink,i ]
Formula 2: Mpoc = min(3.0, 1 + √Peff)
Examples of the PoC Multiplier:
• The Pioneer: You install 1 miner in a brand new area. Zero peers. Mpoc = 1.0. But your final rewards will be massive thanks to the separate Mpioneer = 4.0x multiplier.
• The Facility Cluster: Tom puts 3 miners in a large building. Only one will be a pioneer and so get the Mpioneer = 4.0x multiplier. The others witness each other full-day. Peff = (2 × 0.05) = 0.10. Mpoc = 1 + √0.10 = 1.32x.
• The Sniper: You have the Mpioneer = 4.0x multiplier, and you catch a One-Way beacon from a distant hexagon (K=1.3, W=0.5). Peff = 0.65. Mpoc = 1 + √0.65 = 1.81x.

D. Proof of Data Transfer (PoDT) (Mdata)

This is the "Utility Bonus." If third-party devices (such as generic HaLow cameras, HaLow drones, or HaLow agricultural sensors) use the HaLoWave Network from your miner to send data, you are rewarded heavily based on the exact data volume processed. This is the Proof of Data Transfer (PoDT) layer.

The Anchor Points:

(Values falling between these anchor points are calculated using exact piecewise linear interpolation).

Daily Data Pushed (B) Approx. Volume Multiplier Realistic Device Example
< 1 MB 1.00x Idle Miner
5 MB 1.50x Generic HaLow agricultural soil sensors
1 GB ~1.60x Basic telemetry from tracking systems
5 GB 2.00x Fleet of HaLow drones routing telemetry
10 GB ~2.33x (Duty-Cycle) | ~2.11x (Global) Standard HaLow security camera
20 GB+ (EU) / 50 GB+ (Global) 3.00x (Hard Cap) Massive enterprise logistics deployment

(Note: Blasting past the 20 GB for the countries with duty cycle obligation, or 50 GB for the countries without duty cycle obligation. The hard cap doesn't stack rewards indefinitely, preventing abusive farming).

Home Broadband Cap & Data Transfer Rewards

We have introduced dynamic bandwidth controls tailored to your specific region’s regulatory requirements:

A Crucial Note on Tokenomics: Manually lowering your bandwidth cap will result in a lower Bandwidth Reward Factor. If C is your chosen bandwidth cap in Mbps (where 20 ≤ C ≤ 43):

Bandwidth Reward Factor = 0.50 + 0.50 × [ (C - 20) / 23 ]

Your Final Data Multiplier (Mdata) Equation:

Effective Mdata = Base Volume Mdata × Bandwidth Reward Factor

(Note: In Duty-Cycle regions like Europe, the Bandwidth Reward Factor is always permanently set at 1.0).

E. Proof of Reliability (PoR) & GPS Validation (Vgps)

Since HaLoWave is a physical network, knowing where the signal is located is mandatory. This GPS cross-referencing process forms the core of our Proof of Reliability (PoR). When miners send beacons or witness each other, the PoR algorithm utilizes their exact GPS coordinates to mathematically verify if the physical geometry is within the maximum plausible HaLow RF range. This instantly flags spoofed locations.

To be absolutely clear: RSSI/signal strength is not used for scoring and don't affect your rewards in any way.

F. Hexagon Density (Phex)

To prevent the network from becoming oversaturated in single neighborhoods while other areas remain dead zones, the global map is divided into Hexagons H3 resolution 9 (side size ~200 meters). Check Explorer : https://explorer.halowave.io/

If you hold a Protected Slot (Active/Provisional Senior), then Phex = 1.0
If you don't hold a Protected Slot and your entry rank is k (where k > 3), then Phex = 3 / k
Example of Hex Density: You discover a great location, but there are already 3 active Seniors there. You install the 4th miner (k=4). Your density factor is 3/4 = 0.75. You will earn 75% of what you normally would, until one of the Seniors goes offline and you inherit their protected slot. If you are the 6th miner (k=6), you earn 3/6 = 50%.
This incentivizes you to move your miner to a fresh, empty hexagon to immediately claim a provisional 1.0x multiplier and begin your 60-day path to Senior status.

4. Comprehensive Scenarios: Practical Examples

Scenario 1: The Simple Pioneer (Luke)

Luke just received his first miner and installs it at home. He is the first in his hex, claiming the Pioneer Status (4.0x). Perfect GPS fix (144/144) and 100% uptime (Rup = 100). He currently has Zero peers (Mpoc = 1.0) and routes 0 GB of data (Mdata = 1.0). Even completely alone, his Pioneer Status guarantees a solid baseline.

Luke's Math:

(100 × 4.0 × 1.0 × 1.0) × 1.0 × 1.0 =

400 Points / Daily
Scenario 2: The Hosted Setup (Mark & Host)

Mark gives a miner to a Host in a new area. The Host is a Pioneer (4.0x). The setup has perfect GPS and 100% uptime. The miner connects with 1 adjacent mutual peer (Peff = 1.0 → Mpoc = 2.0). Routes 0 GB data. The total reward is 800 points. Mark and the Host split this 50/50.

Mark's Math (50% Split):

((100 × 4.0 × 2.0 × 1.0) × 1.0 × 1.0) × 0.5 =

400 Points / Daily
Scenario 3: The Smart Router (Paul)

Paul is a Pioneer (4.0x) with perfect GPS and Uptime. He communicates with 1 peer in the Same Hex (K=0.05, Peff=0.05 → Mpoc=1.22). He connects his HaLoWave Wi-Fi Router to provide internet to some local IoT devices, routing 1 GB of data daily (Mdata = 1.60).

Paul's Math:

(100 × 4.0 × 1.22 × 1.60) × 1.0 × 1.0 =

780.8 Points / Daily
Scenario 4: The Hero Miner (Alice in US)

Alice is in the United States (Non-Duty-Cycle) and is the first in her hex, claiming the Pioneer Status (4.0x). Antenna on the roof, perfect GPS fix. Senior slot (Phex = 1.0). 100% uptime. She communicates perfectly with 2 adjacent mutual peers (Mpoc = 2.41). She routes 30 GB of data. With the 50 GB US hard cap, her multiplier is ~2.55x.

Alice's Math:

(100 × 4.0 × 2.41 × 2.55) × 1.0 × 1.0 =

2458.2 Points / Daily
Scenario 5: The Lazy Miner (Bob)

Bob leaves his miner on his living room floor. He is Not Pioneer (1.0x). Struggles with GPS (Vgps = 0.5). His indoor miner mutually witnesses 1 neighbor in the Same Hex (K=0.05) and 1 One-Way adjacent neighbor (K=1.0, W=0.5). Peff = 0.55 → Mpoc = 1.74. Routes 0 GB of data (Mdata = 1.0). He is the 5th person in his hex (Phex = 3/5 = 0.6).

Bob's Math:

(100 × 1.0 × 1.74 × 1.0) × 0.5 × 0.6 =

52.2 Points / Daily
Scenario 6: The Industrial Elite (Jennifer in EU)

Jennifer is in Europe (Duty-Cycle) and installed her miner on the roof of a logistics center. She holds the Pioneer Status (4.0x). Perfect GPS, 100% Uptime, 4 adjacent mutual peers (Mpoc hits the 3.0x Hard Cap). She routes 15 GB of data. Because the EU hard cap is 20 GB, her multiplier quickly scales to ~2.66x.

Math:

(100 × 4.0 × 3.0 × 2.66) × 1.0 × 1.0 =

3192 Points / Daily
Scenario 7: The Urban Hub (Sophia)

Sophia is one of the first in her city with her antenna outside. Pioneer Status (4.0x). Perfect GPS, 100% Uptime. Senior slot (Phex = 1.0). 2 adjacent mutual peers (Peff = 2.0 → Mpoc = 2.41). She routes 5 MB of lightweight telemetry data from a passing drone (Mdata = 1.50).

Math:

(100 × 4.0 × 2.41 × 1.50) × 1.0 × 1.0 =

1446 Points / Daily
Scenario 8: The Rural Relay (Marco)

Marco placed his miner near a remote water station. Perfect GPS, 100% Uptime. Pioneer Status (4.0x). Senior slot (Phex = 1.0). Zero peers (Mpoc = 1.0). He routes 5 GB of telemetry data per day (Mdata = 2.0).

Math:

(100 × 4.0 × 1.0 × 2.0) × 1.0 × 1.0 =

800 Points / Daily
Scenario 9: The "Basement" Farmer (John)

John put 5 miners in his basement to illicitly "farm" rewards. 0% GPS (No signal through concrete). 100% Uptime. 4 peers. Because PoR cross-references GPS, the witnessing is mathematically flagged and marked false (Vgps = 0.0).

Math:

(100 × 1.0 × 1.0 × 1.0) × 0.0 × 0.6 =

0 Points / Daily
Scenario 10: The Crowded Newcomer (Kevin)

Kevin joins a saturated area as the 10th miner (Phex = 3/10 = 0.3). Not Pioneer (1.0x). Perfect GPS, 100% Uptime. 5 adjacent mutual peers (Mpoc capped at 3.0x). Routes 0 GB data (Mdata = 1.0).

Math:

(100 × 1.0 × 3.0 × 1.0) × 1.0 × 0.3 =

90 Points / Daily
Scenario 11: The Capped Miner (David)

David is in the US (Non-Duty-Cycle). Pioneer Status (4.0x). Perfect GPS, 100% Uptime, 2 adjacent mutual peers (Mpoc = 2.41). He routes 50 GB for devices (hitting the US 3.0x potential multiplier). However, David caps his Home Broadband at 20 Mbps, triggering a 50% bandwidth reward penalty (3.0 × 0.5 = 1.5).

Math:

(100 × 4.0 × 2.41 × 1.5) × 1.0 × 1.0 =

1446 Points / Daily
Scenario 12: The Pioneer Sniper (Elena)

Elena is alone on her farm (Pioneer Status = 4.0x). She manages to catch a One-Way beacon from a distant hex (Kdist = 1.3, Wlink = 0.5). Her Peff is 0.65, making her calculated PoC 1 + √0.65 = 1.81x. Routes 5 MB data (Mdata = 1.50).

Math:

(100 × 4.0 × 1.81 × 1.50) × 1.0 × 1.0 =

1086 Points / Daily
Scenario 13: The Facility Cluster (Tom's 2nd Miner)

Tom puts 3 miners in a large commercial building (Same Hex). Tom's 1st miner claims the Pioneer (4.0x). Tom's 2nd Miner receives No Pioneer Status (1.0x). It has 2 Intra-Hex peers (Peff = 2 × 0.05 = 0.10). Mpoc = 1 + √0.10 = 1.32x. Routes 0 GB data. Look how penalized the 2nd clustered miner is.

Math:

(100 × 1.0 × 1.32 × 1.0) × 1.0 × 1.0 =

132 Points / Daily
Scenario 14: The Asymmetric Receiver (Carlos)

Good location, perfect GPS. Pioneer Status (4.0x). Senior slot (Phex = 1.0). He hears 2 distant miners, but they don't hear him (One-Way). Peff = 2 × 1.3 × 0.5 = 1.30. Mpoc = 1 + √1.30 = 2.14x. Routes 0 GB data.

Math:

(100 × 4.0 × 2.14 × 1.0) × 1.0 × 1.0 =

856 Points / Daily
Scenario 15: The Sub-Optimal Pioneer (Lisa)

Lisa is alone in her hex (Pioneer Status = 4.0x). However, she placed the miner far from the window, securing only an 80% GPS fix for the day (Vgps = 0.8). Zero peers (Mpoc = 1.0). Routes 1 GB of data (Mdata = 1.60).

Math:

(100 × 4.0 × 1.0 × 1.60) × 0.8 × 1.0 =

512 Points / Daily
Conclusion: By expanding the network and claiming Pioneer status in new areas, Alice earns over 55 times more rewards than Bob who struggles with a clustered indoor setup in the exact same 24-hour period.

5. A Second Monetization Layer: Enterprise Bandwidth Routing & Global Health Check

While the primary goal of the HaLoWave Network is to build a robust, global sub-GHz Wi-Fi HaLow infrastructure, the high volume of excess internet bandwidth passing through HaLoWave Miners allows for a highly efficient second monetization layer.

This feature, known as the Enterprise Bandwidth Routing & Global Health Check, allows exclusively HaLoWave Miner Owners to earn a passive payout in $USDC on Solana EVERY MONTH while the main RF network scales. To activate this feature, simply toggle the opt-in setting on your dashboard at console.halowave.io. The entire experience is designed to be completely passive for the user.

Phase 1 (Aggregation)

During the initial network growth phase, the Master API connects directly to established B2B aggregation pools. This generates an immediate, stable yield for node operators, helping to offset hardware and energy costs.

Phase 2 (Direct SLAs)

Upon reaching critical mass, the protocol will bypass third-party aggregators and sign direct Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with B2B buyers, unlocking a significantly larger overall reward pool.

Protocol Mechanics

By opting into this feature, the HaLoWave Miner utilizes its idle broadband capacity via two secure channels:

Security Architecture

Safety and strict local network isolation are foundational to this protocol layer:

USDC Logo

Payouts are executed MONTHLY in $USDC directly to the operator's registered Solana wallet, the same used to register your HaLoWave Miner, with zero claim fees.

Network Integrity & Hardware Tracking

Because the HaLoWave Master API connects directly to enterprise ingestion servers, operators must stop running consumer bandwidth-sharing applications (like EarnApp, Pawns, or Honeygain) on the same home network.

Running these alongside HaLoWave triggers B2B load balancer anti-fraud systems due to duplicate node authentication, flagging the IP address and driving earnings to zero.

Yield Distribution & Monthly Payouts

Revenue generated from this secondary path follows a strict economic split:

90% to the Community: Distributed directly to the participating node operators. You will receive your payment directly to the same Solana wallet address used to register your HaLoWave Miner. Payments will be sent from the following official Solana wallet address:

48Dn4iq3cFSCfz1hRa9L2gRQXARDMVH9TGRh7FWm9DoK

10% to the Treasury: Allocated for continued network development, B2B marketing, security, and protocol maintenance. Crucially, this allocation is also used to cover all Solana transaction fees on behalf of the users, ensuring zero claim fees. The official HaLoWave Treasury wallet address is:
